St. John’s Botanical Garden & Nature Preserve is proud to present Mr. Keith Santner giving two lectures on fertilizing those plants we love to keep! But get up early and drink that coffee, because his lectures start at 10 AM!
10am – 11am: Fertilizer Tactics for Plants Grown in the Ground
11am – 12pm: Fertilizer Tactics for Plants grown in Containers
Keith has travelled the world helping professional horticulturists maximize their plant’s growth. He is the New Product Development and Field Technical Service Manager for ICL Growing Solutions, a multi-billion-dollar fertilizer producer.
This is a golden opportunity for gardeners of every kind to learn about fertilizer from one of the world’s leading authorities on fertilizers!
1pm – 2pm: The Latest and Most Exciting New Palms for North Florida
SJBGNP President Dr. John Rossi will present an introduction to some of the latest palms coming into Northern Florida. If you are tired of the same old 10 species pushed by the big box stores, come and learn about the new kids on the block! Live specimens are on display in the garden, and many of these plants are sold at the garden nursery!
